Aussie Hay Runners are a charitable organisation who bring hope to farmers at the time of their biggest need - after drought, flood or fire. Everything they do is performed by volunteers and so, any money they raise is used to cover the costs of the hay they purchase and to support the costs of the trucks that move the hay.
At mylocal.radio, we have decided to dedicate our programs on the afternoon and early evening of Saturd-hay 29 August to support Aussie Hay Runners.
Throughout the day and early evening, we'll play some great music, chat to some of the people involved in Aussie Hay Runners - volunteers, drivers, farmers - and just spend some time celebrating the great work this organisation does.
And while we are at it, we are going to try and raise some money for Aussie Hay Runners, too. You can donate at any time - either before, during or after HayDay.
EVERY DOLLAR HELPS BRING RELIEF TO FARMERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHEN THEY NEED IT MOST.

WHEN IS HayDay?
HayDay will commence at 2:00pm (EST) on Saturd-hay 29 August 2026. Our event will continue 8:00pm on the same day, before returning to our regular Saturday night program.
HOW CAN I BE PART OF HayDay?
There are lots of ways to be part of HayDay.
Firstly, we would love you to listen. We can guarantee some great music and entertaining conversations from 2:00pm all the way through until 8:00pm. To listen, all you need to do is the FREE app for your Apple or Android device and press Play.
Secondly, you can make a request before the event by filling in the form at the bottom of this screen. Tell us who you are and where you'll be listening and, as long as we can find the song, we will play it for you at some stage during HayDay.
Finally, and most importantly, you can choose to donate to Aussie Hay Runners. You can do that right now or you can wait until HayDay. Every single dollar you donate will be used by Aussie Hay Runners to support farmers who have been devastated by drought, fire or flood.
WHAT IS mylocal.radio?
mylocal.radio is an online radio station that plays the very best music of the past 75 years, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our primary audience is made up of pubs, clubs and other hospitality locations that want a "set and forget" playlist for their venue.
Anyone can listen to mylocal.radio by downloading the FREE app for your Apple or Android device and unlike the other multi-billion dollar streaming services, it is totally free to listen to.

SEND THROUGH YOUR HayDay REQUEST
You have two choices when it comes to sending through your request.
First, you can send through your request at any time between now and HayDay. To do that, please fill in the form below. If we can source the song (legally), we'll play it during the day. Of course, you'll also be able to send cheerios to friends and family members - there's a spot for that on the form, too.
The other option is send through an SMS / WhatsApp message during HayDay. We'll do our best to find your song and play it on the day but it is always a slightly less reliable option. Our SMS / WhatsApp number is 0468 126 500.
